June 22 news, recently, Nashville solar energy supplier Silicon Ranch Corporation and Green Power EMC work together to expand the solar product portfolio in Georgia, plans to build a 194MW (AC) solar project by 2021.
New solar project
The new solar capacity will include utility-scale single-axis tracking solar arrays located in four locations in central and southern Georgia. At present, each facility has chosen a good point to successfully negotiate all agreements with local government entities. When completed in 2021, the total solar energy portfolio will generate enough electricity by the Solar Generator to provide economic services to approximately 35,000 EMC households. Nowadays, solar power has already one of the most important energy resources that governments around the world that paying attention to.
Solar power can be used in everywhere in our lives
In fact, solar power generation is not new in the 21st century. In addition to solar cells, solar power converter and solar Charge Controller are all very convenient and necessary products. Today, without the support of government and agencies, solar charge controllers are widely used in the daily life of ordinary families since they are very convenient to use, the cost is not high, but also can save economic and resources, so it has been welcomed by the market consumers.
The 194 MW (AC) solar project plus the recently announced individual 200 MW (solar) solar procurement project will more than double the current renewable capacity obtained by the Georgian cooperative. After completion of construction in 2021, EMCs' 245 MW (AC) solar portfolio will rise to approximately 639 MW (AC).
Under the agreement, Silicon Ranch will own and operate solar facilities, and Green Power EMC will represent 30 power cooperative members to purchase solar power generated during the 30-year period. It is expected that the solar energy project will start construction by the end of this year.
